In the summer of 2002, Brian left the corporate investment world to start Wealth Management Group. After 14 years, 6 with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and 8 with US Bank, he set out on his own with a vision of what a private wealth management firm should look like. He created WMG as a boutique type firm with concierge level service.
It is Brian's belief that every client should be treated like they are their advisor's only one, that we are here because of our clients not the other way around. We have no corporate agendas, sales quotas or contests - we know our clients by name and they are not just another number.
Brian currently holds series 6, 7, 24, 31, 53 and 63 securities registrations with LPL Financial. He is registered as General Securities Principal and Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with LPL Financial and is registered in 32 states. After college, Brian went to UWEC and U of M where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Finance, he received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) degree and designation from the College for Financial Planner in Denver, CO and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) degree and designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Brian regularly gives back to the communities that he has lived and worked in over the past 25 years by serving in various capacities on numerous boards and volunteering his time to civic and charitable organizations. Brian currently serves as a board member on the UWEC-BC Foundation. He has also served on the boards of the Barron County Red Cross, Rice Lake Aquafest, St. John's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI, Cumberland Chamber of Commerce, the Cumberland Youth Hockey Association and the Cumberland Kiwanis and several others over the years.
When not in the office you are more than likely to find Brian doing something with his wife Michelle and their children, whether on the lake or out in the woods at the family cabin. Brian also likes to spend time golfing, hunting or riding his bike.
